It seems that this model can also use the Olympus xD-Picture Card M+ 2 GB although the manual lists an xD 1GB at the bottom of the xD chart. This information is what my Fuji Camara Manual shows. The xD 2GB is the same size as the others. . . so, go ahead and give it a go. **Q: is there anything bigger than 2GB capacity available in this size card?** A: This is the highest capacity xD Picture Card available in the world. **Q: Will this work in my Nikon coolpix 310 camera?** A: As far as I know the L310 and the P310 (I don't know which is your model) only accept SD picture cards, not XD. If so that is better for you, because SD cards are available everywhere and are much cheaper. **Q: Is this suitable for an Olympus E500?** A: Sure I can answer that question. The card that I wanted for my camera was not the RIGHT ONE. After explaining that to the salesman.
