I'd buy it again on a heart beat - this works amazing. haven't cast anything yet. only complaint would be the crucible is large for the furnace. after refractory cement there's not allot of room to grab the crucible. and like all of these, there's no appropriate tool to lift hot crucible. but that's typical. this is very good quality. nice thick stainless construction, burner works great. I've melted some old copper pipe down so far. working on building some tools to handle the crucible, I'd recommend ordering a small crucible as well if this is your first furnace. Smelts aluminum, very easily. Also smelts copper and brass but takes a little longer. For only $130 I’d say it’s a steal of a deal.
