After opening, the contact ball did have some sticky adhesive on one side. I used a light degreaser and the stuff removed without much effort so this wasn't a bid deal. The clarity is excellent, weight and it seems to be very well made and round. I have 3 other contact balls that I use for practice, this will be used for performance only to avoid scuffing but this would work just as well as a practice ball. Over all, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a scuff free performance piece or one for practice.
