I placed my cast iron Dutch Oven (w/lid), plus a 5 lb. bag of flour & a 4 lb. bag of sugar (25 lbs. total) in the center of the rack (over just the center pair of legs) and it bowed a little but seemed to hold fine. If you offset the load to one side (so it is supported by two pair of legs), I think it will hold forever. Also, the simulated 9 lb. load of Dutch Oven content (the bags of flour & sugar) might be a bit extreme. Hope this helps. **Q: What are the exact rack dimensions?** A: 8 and 1/8 x11 and 5/8 inches.
