The outside of the case has a nice texture to it, which makes it a bit easier to hold onto than another case we purchased . The variations in the color of the light teal case are really pretty. It gives off just a very slight hint of shimmer in certain lights, which my teen daughter loves. A couple of points to note. While there is no rainbow option for the keyboard (we were confused and thought this was an option), there are seven different color options or "breathing" where it cycles through each color. It's nice to have the various options available depending on what your mood is. I was confused about how to adjust the brightness of the keyboard, since the listing indicated 3 brightness levels and I didn't see anything about that in the manual. I reached out to the sellers and they could not have been more helpful and responsive. They informed me that if you hold down the lightbulb key and press the PgUp arrow or PgDn arrow, it will adjust the brightness. Just thought I would share this info in case it helps anyone else.
