I havant actually measured it but I am passing a lot of current through it and it's not getting hot at all. **Q: Is this wire the correct one for 12v distribution box of no more than 5 amps coming off each appliance.** A: Should be good for 10 to 12 amps, so as long as your total current does not exceed this it should be ok, i.e only two devices, connected in parallel, each with a 5 amp draw, coming from the junction box.
