Misplaced it when changing our battery. Will this be suitable for that?** A: I would not recommend this item if all you need is that back. It looks like one solid case, built to have the inner electronics pushed into place from the open end. I do not believe it can be easily pulled apart. Having said that, if you already have the back off your old fob, it should be easy to remove the original electronics and insert into a new fob like this one. I am guessing the price of an entire new fob will be about the same as buying just a new back! **Q: Which one works for Benz C280 1999 ignition?** A: These are just the houseings i had to take everthing out of my old fob and put it in the new one and it worked great i have a c230 kompressor tho **Q: does it have the Mercedes Benz logo on the reverse side?** A: No it does have a Mercedes logo.... **Q: does it fit 2003 S430 MB** A: Hi I would not know How the key looks for the vehicles in question. Mine is for a E320 2002. If your current key looks the same then should not be a problem because still you need to extract the board from your old key and place it inside to this one. It’s very easy to do it.
