One reviewer says it will not. Description says it will, which is the right answer?** A: I'd say maybe but not likely. If the classic 80 is bigger it might work, my ipod with this case had bout an 1/8 inch gap, wouldn't even clip together. Not an answer but hope it helps. **Q: Will this fit an iPod classic 5th generation 30GB** A: My classic 80gb did not fit - not even close. 1/8" gap I'd say, so if the 30 is that bit smaller it might work. I returned two cases & yet to find one that works. **Q: How to take off?** A: The case is split in halves and snaps over the iPod .... Therefore, you can use your fingers where the inputs are to unsnap it when you want the case off **Q: What about 5th gen 160 gb?** A: ? What bout it - I ordered this case for my classic 80 ipod, did not fit. 1/8 inch gap I think. So double the I bet not going to work. ## Frequently Bought Together - Clear Hard Snap-on Case Cover for Apple iPod Classic 6th 7th 80GB, 120GB Thin 160GB Released on 2009 + Screen Protector(10.5mm Thickness Thin Version) - 30-Pin to USB C Adapter Cable for iPhone, iPad, iPod – 3ft (Next-Generation Data/Charging Cable from USB C to Dock Connector for iPhone 4S/4/3G/3/1, iPad 3/2/1, iPod, White) – CableDirect - Apple EarPods Headphones with Lightning Connector, Wired Ear Buds for iPhone with Built-in Remote to Control Music, Phone Calls, and Volume --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/452715089-bestforyou-plastic-ipod-classic-case-clear-hard-snap-on-case](https://www.desertcart.at/products/452715089-bestforyou-plastic-ipod-classic-case-clear-hard-snap-on-case) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
