The hardest part was getting it jacked up since it was sitting too low to the ground. Removed the air springs and old shocks, replaced them with these springs and new shocks. My local shop was going to charge $550 to do this. So buying this kit saved over $400. The only drawback to the conversion is you have to remove fuse ECAS to deactivate the compressor so it doesn't try to inflate air springs that are no longer there. I guess that compressor also goes to the tire inflator in the back since it no longer works. I kept the fuse in the vehicle and will pop it in if I ever need to inflate my tires. Other than that I'm glad I did this and it should last as long as I have the car. The ride feels slightly more floaty now but not bad. Handling is much better. I tow 5,000 lbs with no problem. Easy install! *by D***L on December 16, 2023* Perfect fit for my GMC. Shock absorber and spring were excellent quality. Air suspension was going out and this was a great option. I also replaced the rear upper control arms. It's not in this kit but highly recommend doing those two also while you have it all taken apart. You won’t need the control arms that attach to the compressor switch if you do.
