Review: Well made! - After losing some of the weight I put on during Covid, I noticed my sweatpants were a little roomy. It took a lot of effort to effectively tie them, and going to the bathroom was more complicated than I'd like. I got these hoping they would help, and they did tremendously. Here are some of the details I know that may interest you: -These do have a little give to them. So if your looking for something that's doesn't move/slide at all then these may not be for you. With that said, they do a great job for what they are. When they do slide, it's at a slow and acceptable rate. I could tie a loose knot on top of one of these and experience no problems at all. -The button is fairly easy to push in, so they should be elderly friendly. My kids were able to use them for pants and shoes. You may need stronger hands to initially get the strings through, I had a tough time with some strings. -The quality is good. I've used many of them, frequently, with heavy workloads and none have broke or worn so far. -They work with with round and flat strings. The only drawstrings I couldn't get through them were ones with large plastic caps on the end that were too big for the holes. Overall I've been very impressed with this product. The money I spent on them was well worth the quality and quantity of the items.

**Q: how do you use this.  I am  using it for a drawstring and I put it in the upper holes but it is too loose, in the bottom holes it won't move**
A: Press the little top part down so the holes line up with the larger, bottom part. Insert the two drawstrings through each hole as long as you need to. Once you’re at your desired lunge or size ir whatever, release the small, top part and the drawstring should stay in place. Just a hint, tie knots at the end of each string so they don’t slip through the holes.

**Q: Can you use these for 1/4" double braided rope?**
A: Hello,

The cord hole diameter is 6mm, 1/4" rope can't be use it.

**Q: I'm trying to find something to use to keep my kiddo's pants tied tight while he's at school since he can't tie yet. Will these work for that purpose?**
A: I use the locks for my walking and hiking shoes and for securing equipment bags so think one would work for your purpose. I have arthritis and these are large enough for me to operate as opposed to smaller ones but are also sturdier than many I looked at. They can be used in a variety of ways so worth a try. I have not used them for your express purpose.

**Q: Will this fit 1/4” cord without having to cut cord?**
A: If the cord is a continuous loop, you might need to cut it. Put each end through one hole, then tighten it up.
