It is not *perfectly* aligned on the top row of buttons, but everything is completely accessible and functional. The case is sturdy and looks pretty good on the steam deck itself. HOWEVER, if you are looking to use the official steam deck dock, this case does NOT fit the official dock. The bottom is too thick to rest in the dock and the top is too raised to allow the dock plug-in to be inserted into the usb-c port on the top of the steam deck. You can plug the deck in to charge fine, but because of the way the plug on the official dock is designed to sit flush against the deck, it does not fit with the case on. The case is easy enough to remove if you want to use the dock still. But, if you don’t want to be constantly removing it if you plan to be using the official steam deck dock, I would advise against this particular case design. TL;DR: This is a nice case for handheld only gaming but it does NOT fit in the official steam deck dock.
