As with many loose leave binders, it's not ideal for turning pages as the slightest misalignment on the rings will tear the thin pages. At 1200+ pages, it's not light and with the binder won't fit easily into any backpack.Now the worse is that it comes with two access codes that give you little more than a headache. Apparently there is no access to the My Programming Lab if your university and/or class is not on board with giving a "courseID". Despite having purchasing this, a half-hour of broken English arguing that I needed to go back to my instructor was more frustrating than learning Java itself.The first impressions aren't great, as it's not used in my coursework as the handouts and modules suffice and the information I was interested in referencing are bizarrely absent from this text.If you must get this text, do yourself a favor and get a used, BOUND copy.
