Review: Great for feeding the birds! - I searched for a long time to find the largest possible funnel I could because someone had gifted me an extra-large bird feeder this year. The only problem was that the huge feeder had to be filled through a small opening. This funnel worked perfectly, fitting the hole on the feeder and allowing me to fill it in two dumps. It is well-made, sturdy, and incredibly effective. This is not, however, a funnel one would want to use in the kitchen. It's for heavy-duty funneling.

**Q: Is there a filter screen?**
A: Yes, the unit I got had  a very fine fuel screen., that fit in the throat of the funnel.

**Q: Could someone measure the diameter of that little vertical section at the very top of the spout, where it meets the bottom of the  funnel proper?**
A: Smallest part looks to be 1 1/4 very bottom.  
Inside funnel about 2 inches on vertical part.   
Outside of funnel about 2 1/4

**Q: diameter at widest end?**
A: 9-1/2"

**Q: What is the dimension at the small end of the funnel?**
A: About an inch.
