Do not......do not start with the tool. Start by hand and tighten with the provided tool; i cant stress this enough. Take your time. The frame is very sturdy. CAUTION------> Watch your toes on the sides of the bed where the legs are near the middle (on the sides) when walking around the bed once its put together. I wondered why people put pool noodles on the legs (some of the reviews have pics) and i found out the hard way..... LOL......my fault for not paying attention. Now i know the placement of the little legs on the side of the bed and I am very careful when walking around the bed or changing the sheets.
