Review: Canteen mildew resistant replacement seal - Material was a expected and working well. I used it to replace the rubber seals in the lid of my old canteens that have a mildew smell i haven't been able to remove. The silicone is a little thinner (1/8" vs. 3/16") and is a little softer. That said, it seals fine. Since it's synthetic, I'm hoping mildew will not be able to get a permanent hold into it. I've already been removing removing the rubber seals for long term storage and will continue to do so with these replacements just in case. The sheet was ready to mark with a sharp permanent marker and cut with scissors. I have plenty left over even after replacing 6 canteen seals so good value. I may update after tested over time and use.
