A: If you keep the mitt dry your hand will stay dry..  If you have the mitt on your hand when you put the mitt in your wash bucket.... Your hand will get wet

**Q: What is the material content? Is it 100% Polyester or a polyester/polyamide blend?**
A: The tag inside the wash mitt states: Chenille is composed of 88% polyester, 12% polyamide;  the Base is 100% polyester; the Liner is 100% polypropylene.

**Q: Has anyone tried these gloves for cleaning around the house (like for tubs/showers/sinks)?**
A: I have one but I think it would be to large for doing the tub....

They are decently soft and can do the job well. However compared with my other microfiber mitt they are not as plush. Good for the price though.
