I am here to set the record straight. You CAN use it as a memory card. You must have Swiss installed on your Gamecube. In the settings menu, about 3 pages in, there is a setting to enable a virtual memory card. This will allow you to use an sd card as a memory card through this adapter. This method only works when playing games through the Swiss menu. If you try to access the games through something like cube boot, the virtually memory card will not work. Only through Swiss is this possible.
