My Wife needed a flashlight while walking the dog at night. It needed to be on a key-chain small, rechargeable, and use a common battery while providing the expected light output. This met all the requirements except for the rechargeable battery, which I already had a solution for with Enloop AA Rechargeable Batteries. Speaking of, it seems like its getting harder to find stuff that runs on AA's these days, everything's using AAA batteries now, probably due to size. Anyways, depending on what you're looking for in a Flashlight, this might be your ticket. Cons: Nothing major here, but I'm not a fan of "twist cap" style flashlights. This flash light has different modes you can switch between, including a "strobe" mode. Not sure how that's going to work, "Hold on, I know you're about to attack me, let me turn on strobe mode, I gotta twist my flashlight cap on/off a few times before it cycles to strobe mode, Dang! I just cycled past it, hold on hold on... let me do it again..." But hey, you got options so that's nice. That's the only con I have. Thus the 4 stars. Over all this is a fairly simple flashlight and I've purchased other Lumintop lights in the past, they've always been a good brand and this flashlight is a continuation of the quality I've seen from them in the past.
