The Genus Polarizer ND Variable Filter uses two independent rotating rings to control light and also achieve perfect Polarization. The first rotating ring is used to fine tune the light entering the lens. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. The second rotating ring has the Polarizer element. By adjusting this ring you will filter out glare and reflections as well as achieving greater saturation of skies and foliage.

    Invest in a few good pieces.

Living in Arizona it is important to have sunglasses for  your camera. Even though this was on the pricey side I saw a review from DSLR Video Shooter and decided to give it a try. So far works very well. Solid construction.  Bought Newer step up ring and it'll fit all  my lenses. I only need the one size. Yes it does suffer the dreaded X at the highest setting BUT the secondary rotating ring does help to negate that quite a lot
