There are three buttons and other than the third button strictly controlling rotation, I find myself pressing them willy-nilly until I get the setting I want, or to turn it off. That's frustrating when the baby is drifting to sleep and I inadvertently engage the brightest setting.Other than that, the baby thinks it's cool. I like the various colors and that there is a setting dim enough (that isn't blue) that doesn't interfere with REM. I got it on sale so I'm happy enough with the value. A longer cord would be nice. Since only one end is USB, it's not an easy swap for a new cord. The only thing that would make it perfect for me, other than easier to use controls, would be planets. When we're ready for that, I'll have to pay for it.
