Highly recommend! **Q: Is there a tool to attach to a pole to install these hooks? I am 5 feet tall and cannot reach our 9 foot ceiling.** A: no. Just hooks. **Q: How much weight can they hold? In looking for something to hold a curtain rod.** A: I bought these for our church, which has a dropped ceiling, these clip on the metal cross pieces, they will hold a couple pounds each. We used them to hold up a plastic curtain, for a program. They should hold a couple pounds each and with several spread out over a ceiling could hold quite a bit. **Q: will theses work for a dropped ceiling with 3” grids? It’s in a sunroom.** A: I wouldn't attempt it. You could theoretically expand the opening to fit it, but not easily and likely not without scratching the surface of the grids. I used them on 1" grids and still scratched some of them.
