**Q: what's the expiration date on this**
A: There should be an explanation date on the container, however if you drop 1/2 tea spoon full in cup of warm water, if it fizzles it is good to go even if it has expired .

I wish they still had the NO SODIUM Baking Powder, but this seems to work just as well. So I gave it five generous stars. The sodium content is lower than regular baking powder but may not really be worth it (the price is high for 4 ounces) - I think it's only about 25% less sodium than regular baking powder (I forget the actual percentage). So I might look for ways to cut the sodium without spending so much for so little.
