We do love our bar, though. **Q: This is a gift. Which 25 lb. olympic plates are recommended for this?** A: I would recommend 2” bumper plates for this bar. I use mine in the garage on concrete, the bumper plates prevent me from messing up the concrete when I lower it to the ground. **Q: Picture shows 24.61" front to back width and description says 25" between grip handles, is this accurate? I'm 6' & want a bar with enough room. Thanks** A: I am 6', 220lbs. Plenty of room. **Q: Does any hex bar come for stamdard weights? Please point me in the right direction.** A: I think I've seen them in the past, but unfortunately could not find on Amazon as of 7March2021. I use it for training clients and they love it, the weights fit right on it, it’s about 50lbs by its self. There were some minor scratches on it but that’s going to happen the more I use it. I can cover them up with spay paint, no big deal.
