I also have a very playful doggo and consequently I was afraid that my buddy would accidentally hurt him self at some point due to those sharp edges. As a result, I bought this product and it works effectively. I try to hit my hands to the edge after installation and did not feel anything. Furthermore, the installation does not take long (2-3 mins) and the tapes are very strong.
