I have a Kenwood DMX125BT.** A: Key 1 and Key 2 these wires receive and send certain frequencies that most cars use. So for the sake of argument let's say you're car steering wheel controls uses frequency from Key 2 but you connect the radios Key 1 this it will not function because the frecuencies needed is not pressent. Therefore key 2 must be connected in order for that kenwood to be program to the steering wheel controls I use a 9" android radio in my car and it uses both keys 1,2 in order to function correctly if i only connect key 1 only half of my controls can be programmed. Forgot to mention that Key 1,2 is to be able to program the hard keys from the steering wheel all android radios use these wires named key 1, key 2. Connecting the wrong key to the radios key won't harm your radio it just simply wouldn't program try one key at a time and see if from the radios Steering wheel controls programs 7ntil you suceed.
