You can use each side on your face until you are not comfortable (roughly 10 shaves).If you shave your head you'll get roughly 2 on each blade side totalling 4.There are other blades out there though. Bevel is good. Merkur is good. Shark is good. Each has a different feel. So even though they last different amounts of time, it doesn't mean "better". . . . . I suggest using the Beverly 20 pack and then exploring other options if needed. **Q: how many blades come in the pack?** A: There are 20 razor blades in the pack. **Q: How does this blade compare to other blade manufacturers, like Astra or Feather?** A: I've used Bevel, Feather and Astra blades in my Bevel razor. The Bevel and Feather blades (using short strokes and a light touch) gave me the best shaving experience in terms of reducing skin irritation/razor bumps. To me they were identical, and I read something on another site that suggests Feather makes the Bevel blade. I love both of them, but the Bevel blades cost less. And every time I change out these blades, I forget how damn good they are. Good value for what they cost, I probably don't need to use each blade as long as I do, but you know how that goes. These are the only blades I buy for my Bevel; there are cheaper blades, but they aren't as good as these.
