This worked great, was easy to install, and has kept him from trying to get in! If you have carpet floors, this would probably not work, but this works great on my hard wood floors. The instal was easy. The adhesive is thick and leaves a residue but definitely sticks and quickly. We didn't have enough space for the entire sofa so had a small opening. After about 6 months it eventually moved and now won't stay in place. We also ha ve a shark so it could have been that. Not aure. Still think it was worth it.
