My daughter is an adult but she loved the notepad and wand and is writing in it and says she loves it . It is well made and very nice looking , I thought it looked more expensive than it was. Definetly a hit and as my daughter in law is a Harry Potter fan she will need one for her birthday, or so my 8 year old grandson told me . Definetly will buy again . Review: Just a note book - Not really! - I liked the look of this online and ummed and arred a bit about the price. But I am glad I purchased it. It really looks the part. I love the 'Wand Pencil' though I shall never sharpen it, wouldn't want to spoil it. The Leather straps as fake book bind work well to hold the Wand Pencil and it doesn't interfere with opening and closing the note book. It is a good quality hard cover and the paper inside to write on (though I doubt I'll want to spoil it by writing in it with my scrawl) is lovely smooth dark parchment colour paper. I think when anyone writes in here their pen will flow with words that may surprise them.
