## Description

From balaclava to neckerchief, scarf or saharaine, the Buff Grana (Merino Wool Buff) challenges your creativity and brings new ways to keep you warm. Constructed with 100% natural merino wool, providing thermoregulation properties when needed, the Wool Buff keeps you warm in the cold and wicks moisture away to keep you cool. The natural fabric is super soft, odour and water resistant, keeping your fresh and dry. Seamless stitching reduces irritation caused by chaffing with elasticity uncompromised, the Wool Buff will not lose its shape or durability.

Review: Another Buff to add to the collection - I've been using Buffs for 7 years now and have quite a collection. Mostly Regular Buffs and a few Polar Buffs in all sorts of colours and patterns, but this is my first Merino Wool Buff and I must say I'm delighted as to how warm it kept me in this snowy weather we have right now in the UK. I ordered the Shamir Cedar colour(more like Olive Green) so it compliments my olive green military uniform when I'm out with my dad in his vintage WW2 military vehicles at weekends. I ordered it specifically because knowing how well Buffs keep you warm, but also knowing that my dads trucks have no doors or windows to keep the elements out! I feel this Buff will earn its keep in this department! Its indeed very warm and I would *like* to say its soft, but in my opinion it feels a bit rough at first - it could be that I've worn it straight out of the box (as such) so perhaps once it gets its first wash, it might soften up more. Not too worried :) The wool Buff is also longer than a regular Buff, which I think is an advantage as it gives you more fabric to play around with - for example,if you make a hat out of it and have a large head, the extra fabric will come in handy! It won't be a tight stretch like the Regular Buffs! I've had the opportunity to Christen my Buff on the day it arrived already by using it multiple ways when taking a hike through the mountains of snow we have here in Scotland at the moment! Its been used as: A Hat Balaclava Scarf/ Neck warmer Hair Band It keeps you warm when you're cold, but it also keeps you cool when you're hot! When I was wearing it out on my hike through the snow yesterday, there was no end to the snow falling from the sky and eventually my Wool Buff was soaked by the time I got home, HOWEVER it kept me warm regardless how wet it got! Got home and stuck it on a radiator for 30 mins and it was dry and ready to go again. The only downside I find with the Wool Buff it that when I was wearing it as a Balaclava when wet, it seems to lose a bit of elasticity about it (unlike Regular Buffs that are made from Microfibre Polyester) but it seemed to regain its stretchiness when I got it dried at home. Must be a temporary thing. And to the sceptics out there who think its just an overpriced piece of tubing - well its not! Until you try it out for yourself, you're seriously missing out! Buff is a technical fabric that wicks away sweat, but keeps you warm and is very lightweight and versatile piece of clothing. There are at least 12 ways you can wear Buff (go Youtube it) and for £20 for a Wool one, its a bargain and well worth its weight in gold. Would I recommend Wool Buff? Most certainly yes! In fact I would recommend any Buff! Coming from a Buff Veteran, very happy with my first Wool Buff and may well end up buying it in other colours/ patterns too ^_^
Review: it performs better for that task than any scarf or long necked ... - As a slim woman, I've come to realise that this product is a little large for me. I've come to realise this because when I try to pull it up to cover my mouth and nose in the cold weather, it will fall down before very long. Having said that, it performs better for that task than any scarf or long necked jumper I have could ever do. I use this for cycling and it's good for that activity because, unlike a scarf, it's never going to become unravelled and blow away or cause me any distraction or danger. The colour is spot on for me: more of a brick red than a true red; I love it. The thing I hate most about this product though is the label: it is quite long and is sewn on to the bottom of the Buff; this means that it is often visible as, even though it's on the inside, its long length means that it has a tendency to expose itself! The label is not Buff-branded and its stark white appearance just cheapens the product. I don't want to cut it off because that would look just as bad and the resultant rough edge might lead to itching and scratching. Shame. This product itself can be a little itchy at times, even though it is fine Merino; I personally think that given all of Merino's other great qualities, the very occasional itchy neck is a sacrifice that I'm happy to make.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb - a must have for any outdoor adventure
*by N***N on 19 December 2017*

Excellent quality - tough and lightweight. Very comfortable. Versatile, just what I needed for my adventure in the wild with temps of 38 down to 0 deg C. Tip for hot weather - dunk in a stream and pull it over your head and face to cover as much as possible. For cold - use like a scarf. For cooking - use as a pot mitt - merino really does insulate. And after all that for 2 months it didn't smell! It was my first buff but I would not go on another trip without it.
