Review: Very good watch for the money - This is a brilliant watch for the money. Mine came in very nice packaging and from day one has kept fairly accurate time. If you want to the second accuracy buy a quartz watch. I wanted a watch that will never need a battery and will never need the back to be opened. And this one does the job perfectly. You will have to manually adjust the watch if the month has less than 31 days and to me that’s a convenient time to adjust the time if it has gained or lost a few seconds over the previous month. Also the bezel on mine has no slack whatsoever and the zero pointer matches 12 on the dial perfectly. The sweep of the second hand is very smooth. The bracelet on mine is well made and comfortable to wear. It was easy to adjust by removing a few links and is now a lovely fit. Going by online reviews, this watch is either accepted for what it is, ie a submariner lookalike, or it is a blight on watchkind. To me it is just a very nicely made and nice looking watch for an amazing price, and it has a very good Seiko mechanism inside. Win win all the way. If you are a watch snob you won’t bother anyway but if you want a nice accurate well built and good looking watch then don’t hesitate to choose this one.
Review: Amazing Watch For The Money! - I've had this watch for 12 years now. Still looks really great - the materials Invicta use are top notch, particularly the "gold-plate". I actually wear it as an everyday watch, including at work. I've had so many compliments over the years I simply couldn't add them all up. The weight and size of the self-winding Seiko movement adds heft to the watch, making it more impressive than the Quartz version. I get probably at least one compliment a week at work - often asking if it's a Rolex. On the negative side, as other people had noticed it does lose quite a few seconds, perhaps even 5 min a week, after 10 years or so. However it's possible to regulate the Seiko movement if you know what you're doing, to get it down to 1 min a week. I have two other Invictas - but this one gets by far the most use. Would wholeheartedly recommend - especially for the price! One of the best things I've ever bought - there's a reason why people collect Invicta watches. Edit: managed to regulate the watch and it now keeps pretty good time if worn daily. Definitely the best value watch I've ever bought and overall the favourite of my 4 Invictas.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's really not terrible.
*by J***M on 5 April 2023*

I had the stainless coin edge bezel version of this a few years ago. I recall it taking 3 or 4 attempts to get one that was satisfactory but in the end it was decent enough but I sold it on. So fast forward a few years and I'm back but this time it's in gold. If I'm honest this was bought on impulse and purely as a bit of fun as I have quite a few other "proper" watches to choose from as daily drivers. However, to give this watch some credit it's actually not half bad. There are many Chinese brands that offer superior specs to this watch these days. I've had a few in the past and with the exception of San Martin and Sugess I've always found them compromised in some areas. Invicta have been honing their craft with these pro-divers for years now so by now they know what they are doing and you almost know what to expect. This one arrived pretty much flawless so I'm wondering have they upped their levels of QC. The bezel has a very good action and lines up almost perfectly with zero bounce or back play. Cyclops is also applied straight which is one of the issues I had previously. The Seiko nh35 appears to be running well and keeping good time and everything operates smoothly including the crown which is better then some of my more expensive pieces. The dial and handset look great and match the rest of the watch perfectly although the lume is not that great. Apparently these are plated in actual gold, either 18k or 23k depending what you read. It's done to an extremely high standard and there's no missed areas anywhere at all, the whole effect is blingy yet classy at the same time. I remember gold tone watches from the 70s and they used to wear off badly within a couple of months but YouTube reviews suggest that these hold up very well even with rough treatment. The only real issue I had was with the bracelet which is often a criticism. There were a couple of links on one side that were quite stiff and getting the push pins out was a real challenge. I have a feeling these issues were caused by the thick plating which I assume is done while the bracelets are already assembled. I managed to delete the stiff links so all good now. So to sum up, this a surprisingly nice looking watch thats well finished and put together. It's a bit flashy and I may well never wear it outside the house but as a bit of watch fun it's hard to beat and I may be back for more.
