It's expensive, but I wanted to leave 5 stars to show that it works. No, it's not a 5 minute test. You could probably do it in 5, if it wasn't for the fact you have to wait for the blotting paper to dry completely - so in warm weather I would suggest about 30 mins, which is what it took me. Either way, no big deal. I had 4 unidentified "sample" areas to test on an item of clothing. Plus one sample area on the same item of clothing that I knew should be positive when tested, if you get my drift. The 4 did not test positive. The sample that should have been positive, was. I repeated the tests a few days later and got the same results. The blotting paper on which you conduct the test is meant to turn purple almost immediately if it is positive. My positive sample did turn purple quickly, but it wasn't quite as dramatic as you might think - so pay attention when you're doing this. I then did the test on two places on my ex girlfriends undergarment, the gusset and the front. The test came up positive for the gusset. Banged to rights! Checkmate when done correctly really does work.
