Review: Boss FS6 Connectivity - I bought this after getting an Alesis SR18 and Tascam DP24SD... all old and hardware based, so a reasonably cheap recording set up. There's something rather satisfying about disconnecting things from your PC, it makes you more focussed on actually playing your instrument! The pedal works fine, remember having Roland synths, so there is a pedigree... Robust and sturdy, took a little time to work out the back switching, but it now does exactly what I wanted. I think it has more scope than for my purposes: switching Alesis drum banks, starting and stopping etc, and have yet to work out how to stop the annoying automatic fills. The battery is slightly annoying too - you have to unplug leads to kill the power, but a great device. Expensive, but worth it!

I bought this after getting an Alesis SR18 and Tascam DP24SD... all old and hardware based, so a reasonably cheap recording set up. There's something rather satisfying about disconnecting things from your PC, it makes you more focussed on actually playing your instrument! The pedal works fine, remember having Roland synths, so there is a pedigree... Robust and sturdy, took a little time to work out the back switching, but it now does exactly what I wanted. I think it has more scope than for my purposes: switching Alesis drum banks, starting and stopping etc, and have yet to work out how to stop the annoying automatic fills. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very flexible, works well

This is a very solid switch, which to be fair it should be given the price. Works very well with a Katana 50 mk II amp. You can set it to latching or momentary operation, and change the switch polarity, which means it should work with a huge number of things. Two bright red LEDs to let you know what's selected. The only fault with the design is that it doesn't work without a battery, and there's no off switch. You have to disconnect the lead to stop it using the battery. Not the end of the world, and there's an argument that removing/connecting the cable is a bit more idiot proof when gigging. Other than that the only other criticism is the price, which is higher than I'd have liked.
