Little did I know that was probably a factor in having such good thick luscious hair. Bought this powder as alternative to shampooing and didnt want to spend on fancy cowashing products. I like using very little chemicals in my hair and this was perfect, I have mixed it in with shikhakai hair powder. Both leave my hair with lovely condition and shine, even in a hard water area. It doesnt lather, more a hair paste so understand that when you use it.
