**Q: Will this work with oculus quest for oculus link beta?**
A: Yes works a treat. They do a 10ft one too which I have ordered but not yet tried. This one definitely works though.  Used with steam VR, Unity development and also as a rift.

**Q: Does this cable contain a 56kOhm resister to be compatible with charging the nintendo switch?**

**Q: Can this be used to juice up a new usb c macbook pro 15 from a hypo usb charger?**
A: I've used this cable to power and charge my 13" MBP 2017, power was provided off a regular USB 3.0 port and unfortunately wasn't able to just about keep up with the power draw of the MacBook, power draw is reduced slightly but don't expect to run a MacBook off this cable indefinitely. Since I'm just using this cable to maintain a reasonable charge without trying to plug in my charger I'm fine with it but this is no replacement for a proper USB C to C cable or the official Apple USB C charger.

**Q: Is this a sync cable and not just a charge cable? when i use it to connect my google pixel to my macbook pro, it is not recognised, any ideas?**
A: Hi I get the exact same problem you have with this cable. Does not recognise it for data transfer only charging. I have a Macbook pro and a Pixel 2 XL.
Did you find a workround or did you just but a different cable?

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Resolved what I thought was a broken iPad!

I recently forgot my iPad password after having to change it - unfortunately, a few weeks later I had forgotten it as I do not regularly use my iPad. I connected my iPad to my Mac using a USB-C to USB-A cable however my Mac would only charge my iPad, the Mac itself would not recognise that the iPad was connected nor would it show the device in finder or iTunes. I had tried multiple cables and still had the same issue therefore I spoke to Apple Care who advised I would probably need to go into the Apple store to complete the restore of my iPad. After doing some research, I found on the Apple Community website that someone had a similar issue like I was facing - what resolved it for them was using a high quality cable, so on my hunt for a cable I decided to do some research. Apple actually recommends Anker as brand and is one of their recommended brands when it comes to accessories. The cable worked as intended, instantly my Mac recognised my iPad and was able to restore it - I didn't really think that a cable would make much difference considering we tried multiple however I have learnt that when it comes to premium devices such as iPads/iPhones and Macs, is it really worth scrimping on cheap/budget cables. Suitable for charging and data transfer, supports fast charging. The cable is high quality - durable connectors either end which are protected to extend the lifespan, protecting from repeated bending. Highly recommended - will definitely be purchasing Anker cables again and replacing all of our old ones!
