We only use it a couple of times per week to clean around her eye rim and just blot with cooled distilled water the rest of the time. I do occasionally squeeze a little onto the edge of a pure fresh cotton pad and gently drip it into her eye as an eye wash (I use the cotton pad as she doesn't like the bottle near her face!). It really has made a huge difference for her and helps keep her eyes clear, healthy and we've managed to keep her lovely face tear stain free.
