A: Sorry but this is hilarious to me. I must be aged. My first thought was if I were going to stretch something it would not be my ear! In any event, this tape is great for nearly everything. I was just explaining to my wife how this tape is now used to create a rear handhold on my iPad, it is used to also hold together my iPhone after i screwed up reassembly. I use this tape for everything and when done with temp projects, peal the tape and attach to cupboards for later use. This is a great improvement on the Vietnam era "100 mph tape." Ear stretching? Not sure but now I am thinking...

A: Would stick this down as with most things but unsightly and would over time get dirty and messy. But if it is to stick carpet where you can put a plant pot on the top then this will do the trick
