The vocabulary is aimed at the early, key stage 1 readers. Therefore the font type is slightly larger. But I would say the book is well-suited for children from say 4 to 9 years old. The book is slightly larger than Usborne early reader books and much smaller that the larger illustrated books so its an oddity in our collection, yet a much appreciated one. For now the book has been added to our daughter’s little library of which she is very proud.
