Review: Very comfortable & supportive - update - I'm a 51 year old professional gardener and recently developed a Bakers Cyst. When it started giving me a bit of gip, I decided to invest in a decent kneeling pad and knee pads too, better late than never. I got the small size and these fit well and never fall down, and I can wear them below my work trousers so they also stay pretty clean. I've now been wearing them for a good 2-3 months every day and I think they are great - the padding in the knee is good, and combined with my kneeler, I've noticed a huge difference in comfort. But I wasn't expecting the comfort and support that also comes from the elasticated nature of the pads. I feel like they really support my knees, which are probably starting to suffer from arthritis or wear & tear. I've handwashed them once and they have came through the wash fine (as I say, I wear them below trousers so they keep relatively clean). They do get too warm in good weather but you could wear them with shorts no problem, I just don't for purely vanity reasons!! I don't like to throw away, but if they lost their elastic qualities or the padding went really flat, I would definitely buy these again when the time comes. UPDATE I've now been buying these for a good 18-24 months, every few months I invest in a new pair as the padding does go flat eventually. They are only £14.99 and I think that's great value every few months for the level of comfort they give me. Definitely a bit too uncomfortable to wear under trousers in hot weather but living in Scotland it's not usually too much of a problem! I won't look anywhere else - these are my absolute go-to.

**Q: Are these suitable for snowboarding? I get some nasty bruises on my knees when I have a bad fall, so am looking for something to absorb the shock.**
A: I would say so, yes. Having done a lot of snowboarding myself, I can say that more mobilty is necessary for the wrestling and judo that I use them for, thus I would imagine they would be very suitable for snowboarding.

**Q: Will these be any good for a carpet layer?**
A: No good for a Carpet layer .
The cushion foam to protect the knee will compress , leaving small protection in a short time

**Q: Suitable for volleyball?**
A: yes these would be suitable for volleyball as would be for most sports

**Q: The circumference around my knees is 15inches (38cm). So what size do I require please?**
A: Don’t buy them they went flat in less than 24hrs
