I don't think I'll be transferring from my usual Babyliss to Tresemme for hair dryers, but I won't be buying a new one until this one stops working. I saw several bad reviews about the heat on the hotter settings, stating the hotter settings burnt a little. The First setting is hot enough for most styles, so complaining about the HOTTEST being TOO HOT is a little pointless? No? I haven't bothered trying the higher settings but the First & Cool ones work well. I've never known a quiet hair dryer, but this one isn't any louder than you'd expect a hair dryer to be. It has a generic sound..? I don't use the diffuser end very often as my hair can be too wild to attempt any of those kinds of styles, but the few times I have, it's worked as expected. The slimmer "straighter" nozzle works well too. Overall, this a good hair dryer - works as expected. I do prefer my old Babyliss though but mainly for the fact that the First setting is a little cooler (but that's more down to my personal preference than anything wrong with this product) Would I recommend it? Yes, but it all depends what kind of hair you have. As this dryer is "designed" for curls & big hair, I wouldn't recommend it if you have thinner hair. My hair is super thick & there's a LOT of it, so if your hair is similar - yes! Would I buy it again? I'm not sure.
