After having had a chance to use it for a while and compare it with others (like the Swift SW150 and the Apex Practitioner) I would suggest spending a few more bucks and getting one with a few more features - like an proper condenser with aperture. The Apex Practitioner is somewhere around the £120 mark and has both these features, which can give you better control over your final image. The M150 (and the SW150) have a totally useless rotating plastic disk that does absolutely nothing - you can ignore it when it comes to improving image quality. So you might as well spend a bit more and get a condenser & aperture and a professonal quality mechanical stage.
