Celox™ Rapid forms an adhesive gel that seals the wound. The product has also been tested in a model of casualty evacuation, achieving 100 % successful transport without re-bleeding. Celox™ Rapid is provided in a compact z-folded format making it easy to use and carry. Review: Not cheap but really works. - Used one of these on an elderly gentlemen who fell over and gashed his head in his garden as we were walking past his house. They couldn't stop the bleeding because he was on anti clotting drugs for a heart condition. I carried the Celox in my rucsac first aid kit and it stopped the bleeding within 30 seconds. A great addition too any first aid kit.
