No ill effects on the cats and no more worms. We now use every 2 months as a preventative, it really wasn't nice finding bits of tapeworm around the house, one ends up looking at every white speck! It is difficult to give the cats the tablets, but I guess that can depend on the cat. None of our 6 cats would take willingly, my son had to hold the cat and I had to prize open the side of their mouth and drop in near the back of their tongue.
