It's the set... 2 PB "Dumbells"...mine came today in 3 different boxes (I got the 70 lbs weights)... And on each box it says "this is a set"...or something like that..so that the Amazon pickers know that there is more than one box to be shipped...I only got one UPS tracking number even though it was 3 separate boxes, which worried me after reading other answers here..Delivered to me only 36 hours after ordering them! **Q: What is the difference between the classic 50 and elite 50 besides the expansion capability?** A: The classic 50 plus can only be expanded to 70lbs and the width is 6.25", where as the classic elite 50 can be expanded to 130lbs and width is 6". **Q: What are the weight increments for this set? Are you able to adjust in 2.5lb, 5lb, or 10lb increments?** A: Correction since no one has answered this question correctly: you cannot get weights of 2.5s such as 12.5, 22.5, 32.5, or 42.5. That's why these amounts aren't shown on the color chart. Since the handle is 5 lbs minimum, you can only use the two 2.5 lb adder weights to get 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 17.5, 20, 25, 27.5, 30, 35, 37.5, 40, 45, 47.5, and 50 lbs for the 50 lb set. You can use one adder weight alone as a 2.5 lb dumbell. That's the 16 dumbells this set replaces. **Q: The "Shipping Weight" for this item is 51 pounds. That doesn't seem right unless this is just a single dumbbell.
