Also a Chisel blade is only 10mm-100mm(1/8"-2")in width & on the end of a shaft several inches long making it unwieldy and almost certainly Dangerous to attempt sharpening on a suction held kitchen sharpener. you should use an oil stone, holding the chisel at the correct angle and push smoothly Forwards as opposed to backwards as with these devices; but do not even attempt this. So, Please do NOT try to sharpen a Chisel with these types of 'draw through' sharpeners as an accident is very likely. The manufacturer/seller should have mentioned this rather than simply saying 'unless you want your blade reformed to a 'V' " ; you would be unlikely to get that far - (I am a professional wood machinist and cabinet maker) **Q: Suction doesn't work on most surfaces!
