If you are new to telco punching and never used a standard toner before, you may think that this isn’t a good product. I urge anyone that is just starting out to give themselves a few jobs with the device before leaving a review. Also keep in mind that this does not do certification. It does however verify you have end to end connectivity and will tell you if anything is crossed. One other review comments that it’s not accurate for measuring length. I would argue that it’s only an approximation of length based on the twists that it detects in the wires. It’s almost always going to be a few feet off. This was my first time buying this kit rather than just the tool. I needed a punch and assorted tools for a new job. My first fluke branded punch down tool. It’s pretty great!
