You have to remove the mattress turn it over then put the mattress back on top without it springing closed again!. Having a small spare room with not much room made this a little difficult. I am disappointed we couldn’t get the slightly more expensive one as this just folds down, without turning over, & is slightly higher. But all in all for a bed which will be used occasionally it’s excellent.
