The microSDHC and microSDXC cards allow you to make the most out of mobile devices. Kingston’s microSDHC/SDXC cards use a speed class rating that guarantees a minimum data transfer rate for optimum performance with devices that use microSDHC/SDXC. Identical in physical size to a standard microSD card, the microSDHC and microSDXC cards are designed to comply with the SD Card Specification and are recognised only by microSDHC or microSDXC host devices. They can be used as full-size SDHC/SDXC cards when used with the included adapter**. To ensure compatibility, look for the microSDHC, microSDXC or SDHC/SDXC logos on host devices (e.g. phones, tablets and cameras). * Some of the listed capacity on a Flash storage device is used for formatting and other functions and is thus not available for data storage. As such, the actual available capacity for data storage is less than what is listed on the products. However, for those of us who aren't technically aware there is a small sliding tab at the side of the adapter which is labeled 'lock' which I thought if used it locked the micro SD card in place once inserted - not so - it write protects so existing data isn't overwritten by accident which is very useful if you are in the know. Pretty basic ignorance on my part but after a search on google I was soon loading my desired items to it from my desktop and was very pleased with the result. As yet after several weeks of use I haven't had any experiences of failed recognition but I have felt it necessary to be gentle with the micro card when inserting it into some devices since it's not immediately obvious which way is the correct way to load it - it's possible to insert the card upside down which may result in damage if you're too heavy handed . This may be down to the lack of instruction on the devices I use and my basic lack of knowledge of such things. All in all I'm more than pleased with the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 31 December 2011* Requested order on the afternoon of 29/12/2011 with free delivery, arrived morning 31/12/2011, that's what I call fast. They work very well and meet ALL my needs.I bought 4 of these, with the thought of: - "why oh why do I need to buy a 32 gig card".I am able to put what I want on each of these cards and just swap them over when the contents of the cards are needed. Also, together, these 4 cards worked out cheaper than a 32 gig card. The cards all came with 4 adapters, so I am able to use them as cards for my Laptop Computer, when they are not being used in my Motorola Xoom 10 inch Computer Tablet, which was the reason I bought them in the first place. What comes to mind when using these cards is: respect, respect, respect, they are very small and when swapping on a regular basis, remember that and follow the Safely Remove instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Buy *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 February 2012* Very pleased with the purchase so far have not really used it a great deal. On my trial run as they say it does what it is meant to do, even handling the micro card i found no problem. I am pleased to say it converted my dongle into a memory stick which i was concerned may not have done. So all in all i am very happy, and as usual the service i received from the supplier and ofcourse Amazon i have no problem in recommending this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kingston 8 GB microSDHC Class 4 Flash Memory Card SDC4/8GB,Black - Kingston Digital 16GB Micro SDHC UHS-I Class 10 Industrial Temp Card with SD Adapter (SDCIT/16GB) - SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD Card Reader- SDDR-B531-GN6NN --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/48244488-kingston-microsdhc-sdc4-8gb-class-4-flash-card-sd-adapter](https://www.desertcart.at/products/48244488-kingston-microsdhc-sdc4-8gb-class-4-flash-card-sd-adapter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
