Stuck in stone and the superglue oozed out to cover the setting.** A: I can't see why not. you will have to put the de-bonder where the super glue spilled out over the setting, and wait for a few minutes. After the glue has dispearsed, you will have to try to get the stone lifted slightly, by using a scapel blade or similiar. Then squirt the de-bonder in the gap between the gem and setting you have created using the scalpel blade. It will take time, & patience, but it will work. However, carpet is damaged anyway so what's to lose? I'm always getting superglue on my fingers and I hate the feeling of it that I can't stop scrubbing and picking until it's gone, which is why I got this. I have found that just putting it on and leaving it for 30 seconds like suggested, it does get rid of the glue but you may need to apply more than once. This hasn't worked very reliably on surfaces for me though, say you get a drop on your desk and haven't noticed it until it's already dried (a few hours later, or longer) then it doesn't get rid of it. I'm not sure if it's supposed to, though.
