Review: Wood furniture cleaner does the clean. - Originally purchased to clean black stain on oak coffee table. Think from when I have wiped it down and it was damp or wet and placed coasters back. It did not take it out but table does look cleaner and still got a lot of grime up which I had not realised was there. It’s a good cleaner but I have noticed there is a specific cleaner in this range for what I need. Didn’t see that! This cleaner is a liquid and not a cream. Good and I shall use it for other wood furniture I have. Might need specialist advice for wooden floors. **Q: Would this be ok with natural wood but has been painted** A: Hi, yes, the Wood Cleaner can be used on all types of wood, even if it has been painted. **Q: Would it remove vaseline on bare wood?** A: bare wood is porous therefore vasceline will be difficult to remove but use it more than once on infected area and it should do the job. It has removed grease easily enough. **Q: Will this remove nicotine from oak furniture and if so would i need to do anything on the wood after cleaning it** A: It would depend on how old the nicotine stains are ? If they’re old or very old stains they’ve had time to in bed into the grain of the wood, requiring more effort and different techniques to clean than just this solution. If they are fairly new, I would test this product on a small corner of your furniture if satisfied with the result apply to stained area .
