After setting my daughters tank up in a different place and needing longer hoses to the canister filter I jumped on desertcart for the pipe,. This one was longer than required but is easily cut to size with scissors, Fits on to the inlet/outlet valves very tightly, does not leak and is exactly what was required.

A: Sorry I do not have the Eheim universal 600/1048 so I cant answer your question. I use mine for water change not filtration.

A: The eheim 12/16mm hose is the same size as the tetratec ex600

Unfortunately I bought this as I needed extra hose for the fish tank but it’s too small to fit the outlets in my pipe work for my tank I would need to buy at least two sizes bigger but never mind they will come useful for something else
